The Midwest Home Grown Band: Music

The City

This is a song about life in the city. I wrote it using a bunch of double entendre so it would allow the listener to guess at the intended message. The riff came from a part of a tune that a great friend of mine and I came up with for an instrumental song we called the Stork. My friend Wesley has since passed away but I always wanted to pay tribute to him through my music because he was instrumental in my learning to play guitar, as well as writing and singing my own songs.
